It is the most wonderful time of the year and I am not talking Christmas! It is almost time for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! This sale happens every year, typically in July. However, due to Covid-19, the sale will be taking place in August.
Everyone can preview the sale starting July 24! Mark your calendars!
What is the Anniversary Sale?
The Anniversary Sale is pretty much the kickoff to Fall shopping. New arrivals from top brands such as Vince, Madewell, Free People and so much more are on sale. However, items sell out very fast!
Nordstrom CardMembers
Nordstrom cardmembers get early access to the sale, meaning they can shop way before others who are not members! I suggest opening a Nordstrom card so you can gain early access! You do not have use your Nordstrom card to checkout during the sale.
Early Access for Cardmembers
All Nordstrom cardmembers can start shopping August 13, 2020. However, depending on your Nordy Club status, you can shop even earlier! I suggest checking your status sooner rather than later so you do not miss your date to start shopping. You can easily check your status on your Nordstrom account.
Early Access Dates
Icons – August 4- August 18
Ambassadors – August 7- August 18
Influencers – August 10 – August 18
Insiders – August 13- August 18
If you do not have a Nordstrom Card…
If you are not a Nordstrom card holder, you can still preview the sale on the same day as cardmembers which is July 24. I suggest adding anything you like to your wishlist so you can easily access it when it is time to shop!
Non-members can start shopping August 19- August 30. Prices will go up on August 31.
Shopping begins at 9:30 a.m online or in store during normal business hours.
Tips
In past years, I have learned the hard way that items sell out VERY VERY FAST. It seems that there are those certain items that everyone has their eye on and they go quick.
Last year, women’s Adidas Swift Run sneakers sold out immediately. I was so bummed. Other items that tend to sell out quick are sweaters since most items are fall related. Last year, there was a women’s leopard long cardigan that went so so quick and again I was not able to grab it!
Preview the sale on July 24 and add anything you think you want to your wishlist. Once it is your time to shop, jump online ASAP (starts at 9:30 a.m.) and go straight to your wishlist! If you are shopping in store, your wishlist is accessible via the Nordstrom app and you can easily see exactly what you are shopping for.
