Spring is in the air and that means one thing….summer is close by! I live in Boston so shorts are not really worn until summer but I start buying shorts now! I wanted to share my favorite jean shorts that I currently own and live in! They are my tried and true jean shorts which I wear year after year and continue to buy year after year! I mainly have 3 styles of jean shorts that I have on rotate every single year. I have a
“splurge” pair of jean shorts, a mid priced pair of jean shorts and a budget friends pair of jean shorts! I am breaking all three pairs of jean shorts down, below!
Jean Shorts Worth the Splurge
I had my eye on Agolde jean shorts for YEARS! I owned two pairs of their jeans and absolutely loved them. Both the shorts and pants are a bit pricey but after loving the pants so much, I bit the bullet and ordered the shorts. I was able to grab the shorts on sale and they are on sale again RIGHT NOW! Honestly, this does not happen often, so grab them while you can. The pair I have are the “Parkers” (top right hand corner above). I sized down to a 25. I am normally a 26 but they run big. When I first bought them I ordered my normal size and a size down. The 25 fit and the 26 was loose but still fit in a way. However, after wearing them they do stretch out a little bit which made the 26 way too big! Go with a size down.

Jean Shorts Under $50
Up next are my favorite jean shorts under $50. I have so many pairs of these shorts because I love them so much. They also go on sale often! I buy them in my true size, a 26, but they do stretch out as you wear them so you could size down. I love that they are also a 4 inch short which makes them a little longer on the leg. They are also high rise! They come in a variety of colors too.
